An evening dedicated to the music of Francis Poulenc, one of France's greatest composers of the 20th century. Featured works included his one act opera, La Voix Humaine featuring the talents of Penelope Cookson, as the woman whose romantic relationship has just ended. The rest of the program featured tenor Lenard Whiting along with orchestra.

Memories of Vienna takes you on a journey along the Danube. Soprano, Adele Kozak and tenor, Lenard Whiting enter the world of Viennese operetta with their friends Bozena Szubert, violin and William Shookhoff on piano. English Serenade
A Celebration of Benjamin Britten & His Contemporaries

An evening dedicated to music of Benjamin Britten and his contemparies highlighted by a performance of Britten's canticle Abraham and Isaac. Sung by Lenard Whiting and Nina Scott-Stoddart, TrypTych's unique interpretation of this work involves dancers Yuri Aleshine and Anita Bostok as Abrahm and Isaac. Other featured works included other canticles by Britten, his Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings.

Two evenings of opera and theatre presented at The Music Gallery. One evening saw Krapp's Last Tape, the opera, by Marcel Mihalovice with Peter Barnes and The Stronger, the play, by August Strindberg with Penelope Cookson. The next afternoon Krapp's Last Tape, the play, by Samuel Beckett with Gregory Cross andThe Stronger, the opera, by Hugo Weisgall with Glenda Balkan.

In celebration of the centenary of Kurt Weill's birth, TrypTych presented these workshop performances. The workshop participants went through an intensive three week rehearsal period. They participated in vocal, acting, dance and performance master classes and music and staging rehearsals. Master classes were held by acclaimed stage director Tom Diamond, Humber College acting instructor Shawn Campbell, Phantom of the Opera star and vocal instructor Peter Barnes and the Toronto Star Drama Critic, CBC Radio Personality, former head of TVO Ontario Arts, director and librettist Richard Ouzounian. Dance instruction and choreography were held by Anita Bostok who just completed an extended run with The Phantom of the Opera.
